The Arsenal and England football star boy Bukayo Saka has collaborated with Nandos UK & Ireland restaurant to promote his new Peri-Peri Saka sauce.

Whats does Nandos Peri-Peri Saka sauce taste like?

The sauce is sweet and smoky with a little fiery kick it’s made with tomato, garlic, smoked paprika and our legendary PERi-PERi, it comes in at Medium on the PERi-ometer along with Wild Herb and Garlic.

The peri-peri Saka sauce will be available until the end of the premier league season which ends in May. So you have literally a couple of months to go try out this amazing sauce on your favourite dishes. The sauce also can be used by vegans.

Where did Nandos start?

There is a big misconception that Nandos started in Portugal from many people. The brand was formed in South Africa by Robert Brozin and Fernando Duarte. The two owners used to work together at Duarte Father computer firm in South Africa.

Fernando Duarte was taken to a place called Chickenland in Johannesburg after falling in love with the grilled chicken he tasted. Fernando decided to create the food chain named after himself and his son.

The business struggled in the UK at first as there were problems getting franchise rights. The Enthoven family bought the franchise rights in 1992 and built their first shop in Ealing Common, West London and in Earls Court which are still going strong to this day. Nandos chicken is enjoyed by many.

The experience came from Michael Enthoven(Company Director) with the traditional order then sit down. The ambience and colour themes make this restaurant warm and welcoming and once you get a sniff of that grilled chicken then the excitement and mouth-watering begins.

The chicken is grilled and comes in different levels low, medium, hot and extra hot.
