Champions League Quarter Finals

English Premier League teams Arsenal and Manchester City will not be progressing to the semi-finals this year and there will be no English team playing at Wembley in the final. Arsenal were knocked out by Bayern Munich 1-0 (3-2) on aggregate at the Allianz in a dull affair.

Manchester City were beaten on penalties 5-4 (4-4) on aggregate at the Etihad by European giants Real Madrid. At the end of the day, football heritage won. This sets up a great tie between Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.
