Fresh Ego Kid x New Era is one of the best in the game regarding headwear, especially baseball trucker-style mesh caps. During the Black Friday sales, I saw this cap being promoted on Fresh Ego Kid Instagram page.
There was a 50% sale on selected caps. Looking at the caps I wanted a few of them as they all looked good. However, I like wearing black and it was out this one and the black and white embroidered design.
When I give reviews I make sure that I do my best to not be biased. The customer journey from start to begin was top-class. I ordered the cap I wanted. Got the notifications in email. The cap was delivered in three days. No long thing.
I didn’t open the box for nearly two weeks. But when I did I was very happy with my purchase. I paid £20 for the cap and I am very pleased with the quality. I love the added embroidered heart on the back of the hat on the mesh so I can wear my cap backwards and still look sharp.
Now would I have paid £40 the original price for it? Maybe not. But that’s not down to whether I think it is worth that amount. In my experience of buying caps, I’ve never paid over £25-£30 for one. And that’s me sticking to my principles. Would I buy another one in the sale? Absolutely, I may build up a little collection of Fresh Ego Kid caps to wear out and about.
