sfootball Manchester City lose 2 year unbeaten home record to Tottenham Hotspurs

The Etihad was rocked last night by visiting team Tottenham Hotspurs as they went on a rampage ending the current premier league champions Man city unbeaten 2 year record at the etihad with a victory 4-0. City have currently lost 5 games in row a record that was held by Chelsea in 1956 according to Opta Joe.

The signs before the match looked positive with Rodri celebrating his Ballon D’or with the City faithful. However what was to unrival was a shock to most football fans.

Reported by the Independent Pep Guardiola said : “Now we’re struggling a little bit. The moment they create the chances the build-up, we couldn’t handle the duels like normally. We’re in the moment. We started really well, we had chances and after the first time they arrive we concede. Then it’s a bit more difficult to come back.

“After eight years here I knew sooner or later we would drop. I never expected to lose three Premier League games in a row but we have been incredibly consistent again and again and again.

Is the end of Man city reign at the top with their aging squad? Or is the best to yet to come? Leave a comment below.
